The Ministerial Mission for the Prevention of Infections and Antibiotic Resistance (MMPIA) has just published its annual report on actions taken in 2024 as part of the national strategy for the prevention of infections and antibiotic resistance in human health. You can download the report below.

To tackle the public health threat posed by antimicrobial resistance, the 2022-2025 national strategy for the prevention of infections and antimicrobial resistance in human health was published in February 2022. It represents the operational implementation in human health of the interministerial roadmap “Prevention and reduction of antibiotic resistance, combating antimicrobial resistance” 2024 – 2034, published on 11 September 2024.

This year’s summary report, which follows on from the one published last year, provides a review of the main actions carried out during 2024. It is not intended to be exhaustive, but rather to highlight the key points in each area for ease of reading.
