The PROMISE 2025 Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 03 June. The event was held at the Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon Hotel. The meeting was an opportunity for the members of the meta-network to get together and present work in progress or completed, and also to welcome new partners, since the CRAtb network, the Pneumococcus CNR and the Staphylococcus CNR are now joining PROMISE. It was also an opportunity for the various thematic working groups to discuss the community’s future prospects.
The day was divided into several sessions:
- Introduction
- Integration of new member-partners
- Presentation of results
- Data theme (Surveillance, Warehouse and AMR-Env WGs)
- Innovation theme (Clinical Research and AntibioDEAL WGs)
- Outreach theme (Training and Communication-Awareness WGs)
- Exchanges and discussions (Advisory Board) + Next steps (focus groups)
- Feedback (Advisory Board + focus groups)
- Conclusion
The meeting was a success, with over 40 participants attending face-to-face and around ten taking part remotely over the course of the day. Members of the PROMISE community were able to discuss the project’s achievements and future plans in person.
