To mark World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW), which takes place every year from 18 to 24 November, the PROMISE meta-network and its members-partners are launching the interactive website Antibiotics are becoming resistant… We are all concerned, we are all active! [FR].
Its objective is to provide a comprehensive, multi-sector approach to current knowledge on antibiotic resistance and ways to prevent it, thereby promoting cross-sector cultural exchange to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) effectively and sustainably.

This interactive website is primarily aimed at healthcare professionals in three sectors (human, animal and environmental). The only way to hope to curb the spread of resistance between humans, animals and environmental ecosystems is through a holistic One Health approach involving professionals from different sectors. The general public will also find a wealth of useful information, relevant details and practical advice on antibiotic resistance and the One Health concept.

With a fully responsive design (adapted to all types of screens), the interactive website ‘Antibiotics resistance… We are all concerned, we are all active!’ allows non-linear navigation based on topics:
- The entries ‘Risks’, “Solutions” and ‘National strategies’ can be accessed via the menu at the bottom of the page.
- The entries ‘Human health (Alice)’, ‘Animal health (Tom)’ and ‘Environment (Sofia)’ can be accessed via the characters in the centre of the page.
- Clicking on the ‘pills’ on the home page allows you to learn more about a particular topic (Hospital, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Livestock Farming, Wildlife, etc.).
- On each page, users are invited to click on various elements to find out more about antimicrobial resistance and the One Health approach.
The best way to discover this interactive website is to browse through it in its entirety. This way! ⤵️
The PROMISE meta-network would particularly like to thank the MATIS national mission, the RC2C communication agency and all the members who contributed in any way to the production of the content on this website.
