One Health Summit: a PROMISE webinar to open the One Health Festival on 31 March 2026

On 7 April 2026, on World Health Day, France will host the One Health Summit in Lyon. This interdisciplinary summit will bring together key players from the public and private sectors, academia, international organisations, international donors, local authorities, civil society and young people, among others, to work towards common goals.

One Health Festival PROMISE

On the occasion of this Summit, in order to promote One Health initiatives in France and internationally, a call for proposals has been launched to select events that will be labelled as part of a One Health Festival. Among these events, you can follow a PROMISE webinar on 31 March 2026 (2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.), at the opening of the festival.

The PROMISE meta-network will therefore offer a cross-sector webinar – free upon registration – based on the interactive website ‘Antimicrobial Resistance – One Health’, designed as an operational educational resource for professionals in human health, animal health and the environment. In 60 minutes, PROMISE and its members will lay the foundations for a shared understanding:

  • 🔎 Why is antibiotic resistance a systemic challenge?
  • 🌍 What are the links between antibiotic use, ecosystems and professional practices?
  • 🛠 What concrete levers can be used to take action today?
Human or animal health professionals, environmental stakeholders, decision-makers, trainers or anyone interested in the topic: come and build a common language and open the One Health Festival with a collective dynamic!

All PROMISE partner members hope to see many of you at this event!
