On 31 March 2026, to mark the opening of the One Health Festival held in conjunction with the One Health Summit in Lyon (France), the PROMISE meta-network organised an online webinar entitled ‘Antibiotics: resistance is on the rise… We’re all affected, we’re all involved!’.
Over the course of an hour, several members of our meta-network delivered a cross-sectoral webinar based on the interactive website “Antimicrobial Resistance – One Health”, designed as an operational educational resource for professionals in human health, animal health and the environment. The main objective? To lay the foundations for a shared understanding:
- Why is antibiotic resistance a systemic challenge?
- What are the links between antibiotic use, ecosystems and professional practices?
- What concrete levers can we use to take action today?
Through a dynamic question-and-answer session with stakeholders from the animal, human and environmental health sectors, key issues were identified, along with practical solutions for each, as well as tools to further the discussion and foster dialogue within teams, networks and local communities.
We invite you to watch the recording of this webinar now!
