The 18th National Congress of the SFM (Société Française de Microbiologie) – Microbes 2023 – which will take place at the “Couvent des Jacobins” in Rennes from 4 to 6 October 2023. This event will be the opportunity for the greatest number of people to approach “A world to explore”. And for this exploration of the infinitely small, reception will take place at the Couvent des Jacobins, a magnificently restored medieval architectural setting in the heart of Rennes, capital of Brittany… and of Microbiology for 3 days!
On this occasion, several sessions will concern the subject of antibiotic resistance, and on a broader scale the subject of antimicrobials. The PROMISE meta-network will be present in particular via:
- A short oral communication “PROMISE, Professional community network on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in France”, by Yohann Lacotte (PROMISE project manager),
- A poster “AntibioDEAL: a national network dedicated to the discovery of new antimicrobials”, by Florie Desriac (GT AntibioDEAL).
This event will be an opportunity to (re)discover the objectives, missions and progress relating to PROMISE, the One Health meta-network for the fight against antibiotic resistance in France.
