PROMISE is structured around 9 specific objectives and 7 thematic working groups. Through its action, PROMISE aims to improve resistance surveillance in France, promote the sharing of data, skills and knowledge, and improve clinical and preclinical research in France.
As part of this, and since its launch in November 2021, a number of community events have been organised each year to enable members of the meta-network to share their practices, expertise and knowledge, and to coordinate their action. A recent event was held over two consecutive weeks:
- The first part took the form of a webinar entitled ‘Transmission of Antimicrobial Resistance at the Interface of Reservoirs within the One Health Framework’. Held on 15 May 2025 from 10am to 5pm, this first event attracted more than 50 online participants throughout the day. It covered a wide range of subjects in three separate sessions: environmental interface, human interface and animal interface.
- The second part took the form of a hackathon entitled ‘Modeling Antimicrobial Resistance within the One Health Framework’. Held from 19 to 21 May 2025, this second event brought together more than 20 face-to-face participants. It provided an opportunity for several member-partners to come together to work on project development, exchange ideas and advance discussions on common work themes.
The event was a great success, with a high level of commitment from participants. You will find some images associated with these events below.

PROMISE would particularly like to thank the Pasteur Institut (Aleksandra Kovacevic, Lulla Opatowski), Inserm and the ANR for their involvement.
