The network RéPias, member of the PROMISE project, is made up of 5 national surveillance and prevention missions, led by Public Health France: PRIMO, SPARES, SPICMI, SPIADI and MATIS. Each national mission produces healthcare-associated infection surveillance data, prevention, training and communication tools for professionals and individuals.
In this context, RéPias recently posted a brand new page entitled “Antimicrobial resistance in question” [FR]. Antibiotic resistance is indeed a major public health problem, compromising the quality of care: in 2019, it was the cause of 1.27 million deaths worldwide.
On this page, you will find many resources focusing on antibiotic resistance : news, key figures (consumption of antibiotics, bacterial resistance, etc.), documents, etc. Feel free to share this information around you!
