The PROMISE 2024 General Meeting was held on Friday 11 October 2024. The event was held at the Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon Hotel. The meeting was an opportunity for members of the meta-network to get together and present the work in progress or finalised by the various working groups. It was also an opportunity to take stock of the project after 3 years, and to discuss its future, since it has been extended this year until June 2025.
The day was divided into several sessions:
- Introduction
- Presentation of results
- Surveillance (Surveillance, Warehouse and AMR-Env)
- Innovation (Clinical Research and AntibioDEAL)
- Education (Training and Communication-Awareness)
- Integrated assessment of PROMISE
- Opening of the ABRomics digital platform
- PROMISE 2: what prospects?
- Conclusion
The meeting was a success, bringing together more than 40 face-to-face participants and just under a dozen remote participants over the course of the day. The members of the PROMISE community were delighted to meet up again, and were able to talk face-to-face about what had been achieved and what was still to come as part of the project.
