10 years of commitment to health: Santé Publique France publishes its 2025 annual report online

Established in May 2016, Santé Publique France is the national public health agency. Its mission is to improve and protect the health of the population. This mission is centred on three key areas: anticipating, understanding and taking action.

To mark its 10th anniversary, Santé publique France is publishing its 2025 annual report, accompanied by a film and an infographic to illustrate a decade of initiatives, expertise and tangible results in the service of public health.

The report demonstrates the agency’s day-to-day commitment to monitoring, protecting and preventing, by placing expertise at the heart of public policy. Whilst it addresses key issues such as vaccination, the Covid-19 crisis, adaptation to climate change, mental health and AI in healthcare, the report also devotes considerable attention to the One Health approach (“One Health: an essential holistic approach to public health”, p.48; “Infectious diseases and zoonoses: the One Health approach in action”, p. 50) and antimicrobial resistance (“Antimicrobial resistance: a public health challenge”, p. 49).

Alongside its report, which looks back over a decade of work, Santé Publique France has also published a video online that showcases an agency committed to the protection and health of everyone: “This video highlights the missions of Santé Publique France and features the men and women who, every day, work to promote the health of everyone”. An infographic summarising 10 years of protection and setting out the agency’s work in figures and images is also available.
