From November 18 to 24, the World AMR Awareness Week took place. It is a global campaign to increase awareness and understanding of the problem of antimicrobial resistance and to promote best practices among One Health stakeholders with the aim of reducing the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance.
The theme of the 2023 global week remained the same as in 2022: “Preventing antimicrobial resistance together”. Antimicrobial resistance is a threat to humans, animals, plants and the environment. This problem concerns us all.
This is why many actors took advantage of this week to raise awareness among professionals and the general public by disseminating information on antimicrobial resistance. Articles, reports, publications, videos, etc. : the PROMISE meta-network offers you a summary of the main news to remember on the occasion of World AMR Awareness Week.
